Green NCAP’s analysis, which considers the entire vehicle lifecycle (from energy production to on-road use), particularly highlighted the ATTO 2’s cold-weather performance. Thanks to its standard heat pump, the air conditioning system operates optimally, shortening preheating times and enhancing user experience, even in unfavorable climates.
Designed to combine versatility, accessibility, and efficiency, the BYD ATTO 2 is equipped with a 130 kW (177 hp) front electric motor and offers a WLTP range of 312 km in combined cycle. Weighing just over 1,500 kg, this compact SUV is ideal for European cities and short trips. Available in China with two battery sizes – 32 kWh and 45.1 kWh – the ATTO 2 ensures respectable autonomy despite relatively modest batteries.
