Skoda welcomes the Enyaq to the sports RS family

Skoda unveils the Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS, sporty models with a Czech flair, but in 100% electric mode.

Skoda has equipped the Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS with a dual-motor electric powertrain, offering all-wheel drive and a combined power output of 250 kW (340 hp). This enables them to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, with a top speed limited to 180 km/h. These performances make them the most dynamic Skoda vehicles to date.

Their high-voltage battery with a total capacity of 84 kWh (79 kWh usable) supports rapid charging at 185 kW, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in only 26 minutes. Home charging with alternating current reaches up to 11 kW, providing a full charge in 8 hours and 30 minutes. A major innovation is the bidirectional charging function, which enables using the battery as an energy storage unit for the home. The range is also impressive, reaching up to 560 km for the Enyaq RS and 570 km for the Coupé RS according to the WLTP cycle.

Revised motors and chassis

The sporty chassis of the RS models drops the front axle by 15 mm and the rear axle by 10 mm for increased agility. The progressive steering ensures optimal control, while reinforced front brakes with dual-piston calipers guarantee superior stopping power. Optionally, the adaptive DCC suspension system offers 15 adjustment levels to customize damper firmness, and the specific traction mode optimizes all-wheel drive on various terrains.

The design of the Skoda Enyaq RS and Coupé RS emphasizes advanced aerodynamics, with a drag coefficient (Cx) of 0.251 for the standard model and 0.239 for the Coupé. Exclusive wheels, available up to 21 inches, complete this sporty look. The vehicles are also equipped with Full Matrix LED headlights with Coming/Leaving Home animations, highlighting their technological character.

In terms of connectivity, the Skoda Enyaq RS features a 13-inch central screen and a standard 5-inch Digital Cockpit. An augmented reality head-up display is available as an option, along with the high-end CANTON audio system, delivering a total power of 635 W through 12 speakers.

Skoda has also considered practicality, with a towing capacity of up to 1,400 kg on an 8% slope, and an electric tailgate with Virtual Pedal function. These models demonstrate their versatility by combining top performance, innovative technologies, and refined design.
