With the Peaq, Skoda is launching a large electric SUV, a seven-seat family model with a range of up to 644 km starting at €56,460.

Skoda is expanding its range of electric vehicles with a new flagship model. Named Peaq, this fully electric large SUV becomes the most imposing model ever offered by the Czech brand. Measuring 4.87 meters long and available in five or seven-seat configurations, it positions itself at the top of Skoda’s electric offering with a range of up to 644 km in the WLTP cycle.

The Peaq adopts the stylistic language “Modern Solid,” characterized by clean lines and a T-shaped light signature. It also introduces several innovations for the manufacturer, such as flush door handles and a large electrochromatic panoramic roof that can adjust its opacity. Aerodynamics have been particularly focused on, with a drag coefficient announced at 0.249.

Inside, the emphasis is on space and comfort. In the five-seat configuration, the trunk reaches 935 liters, in addition to a front trunk of 37 liters intended primarily for charging cables. An optional Relax Pack enhances the features with ventilated and massaging front seats, leg rests, a wellness app, and a premium Sonos audio system with 16 speakers.

Skoda Expands Its Offerings

Under the floor, the Peaq will be eventually offered with two batteries of 63 and 91 kWh. At launch in France, only versions equipped with the large 91 kWh battery are available. They deliver 286 hp in rear-wheel drive or 299 hp with all-wheel drive. Fast DC charging reaches up to 199 kW, allowing recovery of 10 to 80% of the battery in about 28 minutes.

The new SUV also features one-pedal driving, a next-generation heat pump, and bidirectional charging, allowing external equipment to be powered from the vehicle’s battery.

The technological equipment is commensurate with the model’s positioning. The multimedia system is based on a 13.6-inch vertical screen running on Android, while driving aids include Front Assist, Side Assist and, optionally, the new Travel Assist 3.0, 360° panoramic vision, and automated parking. Ten airbags are installed as standard.
