Skoda Enyaq iV 2023: Price Increase for the Electric SUV

The family electric SUV Skoda Enyaq sees its prices increase at the start of 2023, by about €1,500, across all versions.

Inflation is affecting more and more car brands. The year 2022 was harsh for those wishing to acquire a Dacia Spring, whose price jumped by 22% since launch, or a Tesla Model 3 which increased by €10,000 while losing the bonus. Within the Volkswagen group, no exception, especially on the Skoda Enyaq iV.

€10,000 increase since launch

How distant those days seem, when the Skoda Enyaq iV had a starting price of €40,800. Even worse, we remember early 2021, when the Czech SUV offered a basic “50” version starting at €36,050. Today, that variant with the 52 kWh useful battery has disappeared, leaving the higher “60” model to guarantee the entry ticket.

But even that has increased in price. Rising from €41,220 in 2021 to €44,580 in 2022 to keep the full €6,000 bonus, it continues to climb. Now, the Skoda Enyaq iV starts at €46,150, a rise of €1,570! You can take solace in the 2023 bonus of €5,000 or €7,000 still being available.

And other versions are following suit, including the “80” increasing from €51,820 to €53,190. A smaller rise of €1,370. To get a four-wheel-drive version, you need to go for the Enyaq iV 80x at €55,460. As for the most powerful RS with 300 hp launched last November, the initial price of €61,130 increases to €62,500.

The Skoda Enyaq Coupé too

The price increase affects all Enyaq models, including its Coupé variant. However, 2023 is less hard on the wallet, as the base “60” version only increases by €860, similar to the 80 and 80x. The Enyaq Coupé RS reduces the gap, with an increase of €640.
