Renault Offers a Charging Station for Scenic Rental

Until January 31, 2024, Renault is offering a charging station valued at 800 euros with the long-term rental of a Scenic Grande Autonomie.

Just launched and Renault is already pulling out the heavy artillery. The Scenic is undoubtedly the most aggressive product in Renault’s electric offensive since the Zoé in the early 2010s.

The diamond-shaped brand took its time to define a product with relevant technical specifications and a highly inflated pricing strategy. Thanks to the 5,000-euro ecological bonus, the starting price is set at 34,990 euros before discounts. It is certainly realistic to think that 1,000 euros will be easily negotiated with the dealer.

Proof of this is that Renault doesn’t beat around the bush: for a 37-month long-term lease and 30,000 km of a Scenic Techno 220 hp Grande Autonomie starting from 400 euros / month (after an initial payment of 5,000 euros after the bonus deduction), a charging station worth up to 800 euros is offered.

This offer corresponds to an €800 tax-free reduction on the overall package “station + installation”. The station cannot be refunded in cash at the customer’s request, nor exchanged for a comparable charging station of any kind. Renault’s technical teams will install your charging solution before delivery of your vehicle and within a maximum of 45 days after ordering. Excellent deal.

The French manufacturer is clever: it knows that the main obstacle to electric adoption is access to the charger. The lock is thus removed.
