It was anticipated, and now it’s here. Redesigned and technologically updated, the Tesla Model 3 2024 is set to turn heads!

It has been buzzing online and the subject of speculation for months; finally, here is the Tesla Model 3 2024 without camouflage. Firstly, the major facelift is immediately noticeable, with more streamlined and fluid lines than before. The eyes are more aquiline, the headlights sleeker and accentuated by a line of LED daytime running lights in true Tesla style.

The profile remains relatively unchanged, which is somewhat expected. Notably, the hubcaps on the entry-level 18-inch version are more aerodynamically shaped than before. This new design offers increased range and reduced rolling noise.

The rear view now features new, more stylish headlights that do not radically change the identity of the car. The refresh is certainly welcoming. The new Model 3 2024 evolves without overshadowing the previous version, and current owners will be reassured.

The first major revolution happens inside, with a completely new, enveloping interior centered around a massive 15.4-inch central screen. The materials and assemblies—sometimes criticized—have significantly improved in quality. The sound system is now immersive, with 17 speakers, two subwoofers, and two amplifiers. Driving an electric vehicle will feel like being in a concert hall!

The seats can be ventilated, including remotely, for added comfort, and smartphone charging will be wireless via induction on the central tunnel.

In the rear, passengers can now enjoy a small touchscreen (beware of kids feeling queasy) with an 8-inch diagonal for entertainment and climate control adjustments. Finally, the fully glazed roof will feature an innovative acoustic and UV-protective glass.

Once you’ve taken in the exterior, it’s time to explore the technical specifications! And there’s much more change here than expected, to the point that the Tesla Model 3 2024 significantly outperforms the star Model Y. The latter should also benefit from these updates very soon, as they share the same technical architecture.

Tesla Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive: range increases from 491 km to 554 km, a substantial gain of nearly 15%, while 0-100 km/h acceleration now takes 6.1 seconds. Its price, which Elon Musk had promised to lower, actually sees a slight increase at launch, with a small rise of 1,000 euros, reaching 42,990 euros before the €5,000 eco-bonus. The final price is thus €37,990, which remains quite reasonable.

Tesla Model 3 Long Range: here, the range rises to 629 km, making the extended range argument finally valid. With all-wheel drive, the distinction from the Rear-Wheel Drive Model 3 becomes much clearer than before. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is just 4.4 seconds, and the weight stays manageable at 1,828 kg—a remarkable feat for an electric car with such a large battery. The price also increases slightly to €50,990, excluding the eco-bonus.

Note that, for now, there are no versions of the Long Range or Performance in the Propulsion lineup. The launch will be phased…

The orders are already open, with the first deliveries expected in October-November 2023.

Regarding options, two new very attractive paint colors have been added: Ultra Red and Stealth Gray, each costing €2,000 (ouch).

Optional, new 19-inch alloy wheels will add a touch of style but will also decrease comfort, increase your budget (€1,190), and reduce range by 40 km, bringing it to 513 km.

The white interior, which is not always to everyone’s taste and requires careful maintenance, remains an option as before: €1,190. The same applies to the upgraded Autopilot (€3,800) and autonomous driving capability (€7,500).
