Competing with the Renault Mégane E-Tech and Volkswagen ID.3, the MG4 with very aggressive prices is expected to boost MG’s presence in Europe.

Measuring 4.29 meters long and 1.84 meters wide, it promises a passenger space comparable to that of the Mégane E-Tech but has a less generous trunk volume with 363 liters announced (versus 440 liters for the French model).

Equipped with a 204 hp motor and 250 Nm of torque, the MG4 Electric can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds according to the manufacturer. Its average electric consumption is fixed at 16 kWh/100 km, also according to MG.
Two batteries are offered: 51 kWh and 64 kWh, with theoretical ranges of 350 km and 450 km respectively under WLTP standards. AC charging supports up to 22 kW, while fast charging (DC) can go up to 135 kW on the Comfort and Luxury versions.
Three trims and a comprehensive standard equipment list
In terms of features, all versions include semi-autonomous driving, digital instrumentation (7″ screen), and keyless entry and start.
