Audi officially launches orders for the new Q4 e-tron, its compact 100% electric SUV considered to be the brand’s best-seller in this segment. This new generation is distinguished by an increased range, optimized charging, and upgraded technology aimed at both individuals and businesses.
The German manufacturer announces up to 580 kilometers of range according to the WLTP cycle, representing an improvement of about 10% compared to the previous model. This progress is based on a more efficient electric motor and several technical optimizations. The consumption starts at 15.2 kWh/100 km depending on the versions, placing the model among the benchmarks of the premium electric SUV segment.
Fast charging has also evolved with a maximum power of 185 kW in direct current. Audi states that it is possible to recharge the battery from 10% to 80% in about 27 minutes and recover up to 185 kilometers of range in just ten minutes at a fast charging station.
Inside, the new Audi Q4 e-tron adopts a modernized digital interface with an 11.9-inch instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch MMI touchscreen. The infotainment system now runs on Android Automotive OS and includes a voice assistant enhanced by ChatGPT for smoother interactions.
The electric SUV also introduces bidirectional charging at Audi. The Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function allows external electrical devices to be powered directly from the vehicle’s battery. A Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) compatibility is also planned for the future.
