Miraculous Ladybug Comes to Volkswagen

Several vehicles from the brand, including prototypes, were integrated into the hit animated feature.

A quick reminder for those who have missed the Ladybug and Black Cat phenomenon. What is “Miraculous”? If you still don’t know this franchise, know that it is an animated series that has captivated young viewers since the first season aired in 2015. In total, the franchise has amassed over 33 billion views on YouTube and is number one in TV rankings in many countries, including France, where the story takes place. As the sixth season is about to premiere, “Miraculous” has taken a new step with the release of the film exploring the origins of its heroes. This film was also an opportunity to showcase Paris, where the story is set, and Volkswagen’s new electric range! Welcome to Paris to meet Marinette, Adrien, the Butterfly, and the entire joyful family!

The animation also featured the innovation of Volkswagen electric vehicles online. An original way to introduce the ID. family in a friendly manner to a broad family audience, some of whom may not be the brand’s typical customers due to their young age. Too young to undergo such advertising bombardment? Personal experience: my children noticed that the cars looked beautiful, and I smiled, thinking that Volkswagen had made a very clever move.

ID. Vizzion: The ID. Vizzion concept car is the vehicle of the Butterfly, a successful stylist known as Gabriel Agreste, who is also Adrien’s father.

ID. Crozz: The ID. Crozz, another concept car, is the preferred vehicle for one of the heroes: Black Cat.

New Electric Beetle: The New Electric Beetle, inspired by the New Beetle, is an original creation for the film. Nothing surprising since the heroine’s totem is a ladybug.
