With 680 hp, a 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, and more than 670 km of range, the new Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 electric is off the charts.

Under the bodywork are three axial flow electric motors, two at the rear and one at the front. Together, they deliver up to 500 kW, or 680 hp, transmitted to all four wheels via the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system. Result: the 0 to 100 km/h is claimed in just 2.7 seconds.
A record on the Nürburgring
AMG did not wait for the first customers to demonstrate the potential of its new toy. The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 electric completed the 20.832 km of the Nordschleife in 7 minutes 32 seconds 070, setting a new record in its segment.
The most astonishing thing remains that these performances do not compromise range. Thanks to its 800-volt electric architecture, the sedan claims more than 670 km of range and a charge from 10 to 80% in 22 minutes on a suitable fast charger.
AMG RIDE CONTROL adaptive suspension, rear-wheel torque vectoring, and active aerodynamics complete a particularly serious arsenal.
In terms of pricing, Mercedes announces the CLA 45 4MATIC+ starting at €82,100, while the Shooting Brake starts at €83,500. Electric cars were supposed to make cars reasonable. At AMG, apparently, no one received the memo.
