Mazda CX-6e

Unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show 2026, the Mazda CX-6e completes the Japanese manufacturer’s electric range.

Unveiled on January 9, 2026, in Brussels, the Mazda CX-6e is a 100% electric mid-sized SUV targeted at the European market. It is part of Mazda’s gradual electrification strategy and will support the Mazda6e, which is set to launch in the summer of 2026. The CX-6e will arrive in some European markets shortly thereafter, with availability announced in the UK by the end of the year.

The CX-6e is built on a rear-wheel drive architecture, ensuring dynamic handling. Its rear electric motor produces 258 hp and 290 Nm of torque, powered by a 78 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. In the WLTP cycle, its range can reach up to 483 kilometers. Despite the substantial power, performance remains modest, with a 0 to 100 km/h time of 7.9 seconds.

A solid technical copy, a premium cabin

In terms of charging, Mazda’s electric SUV accepts a maximum power of 195 kW in DC, allowing a charge from 10 to 80% in 24 minutes under optimal conditions. AC charging is provided by an 11 kW three-phase onboard charger, compatible with both home and public charging stations in France.

However, the cabin takes a leap forward, emphasizing technology and functionality. The driver’s station is centered around a massive 26-inch panoramic touchscreen, complemented by a heads-up display.

The multimedia system includes multilingual voice recognition as well as wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A dedicated app also allows access to several functions remotely, including charging management. Video mirrors complete this decidedly tech-driven setup.
