Ligier: 130 km Range for the Future Myli Electric

Much more expensive than the Citroën AMI, the new Ligier electric will also offer a much higher range thanks to the large battery.

Myli, for “My Ligier”: this is the name Ligier has chosen for its new electric model. A few months before the launch, the car manufacturer has kicked off its communication campaign. For the first time, the vehicle appeared briefly in a short video.

Thanks to information gathered by Capital from François Ligier, the CEO of the brand, we now know that the range of the Mily will vary between 50 and 130 km, depending on the size of the battery. Charging will be directly on a household outlet, via a cable supplied with the car.

The Ligier Myli will accommodate two people. In accordance with legislation, it will weigh less than 425 kilograms without the battery and will not be able to exceed 45 km/h.

A Weapon of Conquest for Ligier?

The Mily range is expected to be structured around 3 levels of autonomy and 4 finishes. Without going into details, the French manufacturer mentioned on its website “several customization packs” as well as “cutting-edge equipment”. There should therefore be a touchscreen onboard and connected features.

Overall, the Mily will be less rudimentary than the Citroën AMI. It will also cost more, with prices ranging from €12,000 to €18,000. These prices place it more in line with electric models from Aixam, which start at €16,999 (minus a €900 bonus not deducted).

The Myli will be assembled in France. Scheduled for spring 2023, it aims to help Ligier reach a different customer base than the one traditionally attracted by its diesel models.
