The Lexus RZ 450e arrives on the market, here are the prices

6 months after its official debut, the Lexus RZ 450e is now on the market. It complements the UX 300e, another electric SUV from the Japanese brand.

Lexus has just launched the commercial release of the RZ 450e. At 4.81 meters in length, this electric SUV positions itself in the segment of the Mercedes EQC and the BMW iX3. Very close to the Toyota bZ4X, it will likely benefit from updates made to that vehicle, which experienced some significant teething problems.

The Lexus RZ 450e is priced starting at €75,500. Therefore, it is not eligible for the eco-bonus, which is reserved for electric models costing less than €47,000. The range features two finishes, named Luxe and Exclusive. The first comes with a standard set of 18-inch alloy wheels, metallic paint, automatic lights, an electric tailgate, and a 14-inch touchscreen with an onboard navigation system. An inductive smartphone charger and synthetic leather upholstery with heated front seats are also included. In the Exclusive trim, the RZ 450e gets larger 20-inch wheels and more refined LED headlights. The seats are upholstered in Ultrasuede and are ventilated as well as heated (at the front). A head-up display, an automatic parking system, and a panoramic sunroof that can be tinted also make their debut.

The technical specifications are the same across the entire range. The 313 hp motor drives all four wheels and draws power from a 72.8 kWh battery. The range is estimated to be 435 km (WLTP cycle) with the 18-inch wheels. It drops by 30 km with the 20-inch wheels.
