The Abarth 500e is priced at €29,900!

In less than a year, the price of the Abarth 500e electric has already been cut by 8,100 euros to give it relevance in the market.

Sports cars and electric motors are not yet a perfect match. And even more so when prices inflate as they go. However, Fiat and Abarth have done quite well with the small 500E, whose look, dynamic performance, and even sounds have been carefully designed.

Sounds? Yes, because the Abarth 500e is equipped with a noise generator, a speaker that reproduces the growl of an internal combustion engine. It may sound funny, but it does the job for those who like to stand out in ways other than with the acid green hue.

A price in free fall

Initially sold from 43,000 euros in spring 2023, the sporty version of the cute Fiat 500e is now listed at 36,900 euros before an ecological bonus of 5,000 euros, to which Abarth adds an additional 2,000 euros. The final price is therefore 29,900 euros, which is much more reasonable, with the finish and exterior/interior treatments being really nice and exclusive.

Under the hood, the electric motor increases from 118 to 155 horsepower, already providing good traction to the front wheels thanks to a generous and immediate torque.

The convertible version has also experienced a welcome price drop, though not to the same extent. From 46,000 euros, it now retails at 42,300 euros, or 35,300 euros after the bonus and Abarth rebate. That remains quite generous.
