Kia EV4: price already reduced by €2,500 in France

KIA’s electric compact, the new EV4, now benefits from both the CEE bonus of up to €5,200 and a €2,500 discount.

Whatever your income in France, the KIA EV4 in Air trim now starts from €31,590. At least if you can quickly take advantage of the promotions currently applied to vehicles already in stock.

Indeed, dealers are encouraged to offer a €2,500 discount across the range, which therefore no longer starts at €38,290 but at €35,790. A bargain that, combined with the CEE bonus of €4,200 for everyone, and up to €5,200 for low-income households, makes this South Korean model very attractive.

There is one condition for obtaining the CEE bonus: choose the compact body (hatchback) rather than the fastback with a trunk. Why? Because the former is produced in Europe (in Žilina, Slovakia), and the latter is not (in South Korea).

Then a question arises: what is the KIA EV4 in entry-level Air trim at €31,590 worth? Well, it’s great. With its 58 kWh battery, it promises up to 440 km of electric range, and up to 542 km in the city. Ideal for daily trips.

With its 150 kW of power (204 horsepower), dynamism is ever-present and the result competes perfectly with a Renault Megane E-Tech. Charging power is 108 kW with the “small” battery, but that is again sufficient for 95% of everyday needs.

In the end, with this first price repositioning, the KIA EV4 becomes very relevant. And this is probably only the beginning…
