A few days ago, its “manufacturer,” the Chinese Dongfeng, unveiled its own visually updated cousin, the Nano Box: look, grille, rims, colors, the new paint job is quite convincing.
Inside as well, a bit more color and especially two brand new digital screens: 7″ behind the wheel and 10″ in the center. Perceived quality has significantly improved.
Since the powertrain remains relevant, Dongfeng has not announced any changes, preferring to save its money for the development of the next generation. The Nano Box is also an affordable car in China and must remain so. Locally, it costs around 9500 euros, versus double in France… despite the integrated ecological bonus.
This shows there is room for manufacturers to improve, something the French government is currently realizing. The bonus threshold for 2024 could also be significantly lowered.
