Is Elon Musk the main reason behind the resale of certain Teslas?

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and “X”, formerly Twitter, is at the top of a rather surprising ranking, with the main topic being: reselling a Tesla.

Bloomberg published a new survey in which Tesla Model 3 owners are surveyed. Bloomberg polled former Tesla owners to find out the primary reason for resale, a total of 5,000. In first place with 21.5% of the votes, is… Elon Musk, the company’s CEO.

Elon Musk in Turmoil?

We know the “phenomenon” Elon Musk for his media outings. Notably his acquisition of Twitter, which in a few days saw its Artistic Direction completely change, as well as its Name. Yet, in a survey published by Bloomberg, Elon Musk ranks first in a list of causes for reselling Tesla vehicles by former owners of the brand. “Disapproval of Elon Musk” is cited by 21.5% of Tesla Model 3 owners, ahead of “quality and service concerns” from the American firm with 18.7% of the votes.

What are the other reasons?

Among other concerns from former consumers, one can find “brand satisfaction” with 17.8% of the votes. Behind that, “the high price” at 13.1%, or even switching to an internal combustion vehicle for 7.5% of respondents. Despite this study, the American brand sold more vehicles this semester than last year.
