A new model makes waves in Fisker’s previously very conservative lineup: the Ronin. The Fisker Ronin is the world’s first fully electric four-door and convertible sports GT. With its sleek and powerful lines, it represents, according to its designer, the epitome of Fisker’s technology and performance. Priced at $385,000, what does it offer?

The founder and head of the brand has no doubt: this new model will push the limits of electric cars. “The goal is to achieve the longest range in the world for a production electric vehicle, combined with extremely high levels of performance”, explains Henrik Fisker.

At this stage, these enthusiastic claims are not backed by any official numerical data. However, a UK media outlet claims to have obtained some interesting information from Henrik Fisker himself. He reportedly mentioned a range over 1,000 km on WLTP cycle and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in less than two seconds.

The Ronin will feature extensive aerodynamic work and will use many lightweight materials. The car will also innovate with batteries directly integrated into the structure. The model’s name is a nod to the film Ronin. Henrik Fisker clearly enjoyed this feature film and especially “its famous car chases” (according to the press release). However, don’t delay too much in making your decision if you are attracted to this Ronin, as it will only be available in 999 units.
