Inster, Hyundai’s compact 100% electric urban SUV, is now available in a 5-door version eligible for the Eco Bonus.
A new 5-door configuration is now also offered to Inster buyers. And good news for the Korean brand, this new configuration meets the criteria for eco bonus eligibility.
In this 5-door configuration, a few differences are worth noting. The vehicle features a fixed rear bench seat, foldable 60/40. In the rear seats, the cushion no longer slides, unlike the 4-door version, and the backrests are not adjustable in inclination. Its trunk capacity is therefore fixed at 280 liters, compared to an adjustable volume from 238 to 351 liters for the 4-door version.
The Hyundai Inster is primarily characterized by a quite successful cubic style, even if the overall line remains very classic. Protruding wheel arches, a high-tech bumper, and modern lighting signatures luckily add a bit of fun to a ultimately coherent overall design. The entry-level Hyundai is equipped with a 42 kWh battery powering a 71.1 kW (97 hp) motor and 147 Nm of torque. The range is announced at 355 km in WLTP cycle, which is perfect for its intended use. With a 120 kW fast charger, it can be recharged from 10 to 80% in 30 minutes.
The 5-door version is offered at the same price as the 4-door Inster, namely exactly 25,000 euros. But with the Eco Bonus, its price can drop to as low as 21,000 euros.
