Max Verstappen and Honda e: Almost Love at First Sight
This page is translated from the original post "Max Verstappen en Honda e : presque un coup de foudre" in French.

For the launch of a new limited series, the F1 driver agreed to promote Honda’s electric city car.
Nothing better than a small limited edition to bring a model back into the spotlight. Honda has crafted a new one for its electric city car, launched two years ago. For the occasion, the Japanese manufacturer enlisted a prestigious ambassador: F1 World Champion Max Verstappen.
Just enough time to take some pictures, the Dutch driver traded his RB18 seat for that of the Honda e. At least it’s more comfortable, and it also helps maintain relations between Honda and Red Bull in Formula 1.
The car was presented to Max in the town of Dozza, a few days before the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. According to Honda’s communication, the Dutch driver was charmed by the electric city car. Fortunately for him, he regained his senses at the start of the race, which he ultimately won ahead of Sergio Perez and Lando Norris.

A Honda e limited to 50 units
One word about the car itself, simply named Honda e Limited Edition. Based on the high-end Advance trim, it features a Crystaline Premium Red color, with additional touches of black. These match the roof and the 17-inch wheels of the same color. Aside from that, there is nothing to report, neither aesthetically nor technically. The appeal of this limited series is therefore quite… limited.
Honda plans to sell 50 units of this version in Europe. In the UK, the extra cost compared to a standard Honda e “Advance” is £1,200, roughly €1,400. In France, the price has not yet been announced, but the car is expected to be sold, as it is displayed on the brand’s website.
