Here is the most powerful production Porsche of all time

The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package is the most powerful series model in the manufacturer’s history. And it is 100% electric!

Porsche has unveiled a model that will make history for the brand. It is neither a hypercar nor a new competition version of the 911, but an electric sedan with 1,100 hp!

This Porsche Taycan Turbo GT equipped with the Weissach pack easily took the title of the fastest serial electric car on the formidable American Laguna Seca track in California. Shortly beforehand, a pre-production version of this new model set a new record on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7’07″551. This official lap time is just 26 seconds faster than that achieved by the Taycan Turbo S Sport equipped with the performance pack in August 2022. This time also sets the current record for series production electric cars and makes the Turbo GT the fastest four-door sedan on the Nürburgring overall.

The Taycan Turbo GT and its sporty “Weissach” variant are Porsche’s new flagship sports models. Equipped with an optimized electric motor, both cars deliver 790 hp (580 kW). The Launch Control boosts this power up to 1,030 hp (760 kW), and a fierce overboost raises the horsepower to 1,100 hp (815 kW) for two seconds!

The Taycan Turbo GT only needs 2.2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h with the Weissach pack. The model is thus two-tenths of a second faster than the Taycan Turbo S in this exercise. But the most astonishing figure concerns the 0 to 200 km/h acceleration in 6.4 seconds for the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach pack, 1.3 seconds faster than the Taycan Turbo S!

The Porsche Taycan GT Turbo with Weissach pack is already available for order in Germany at a price of 240,000 euros.
