Skoda Enyaq Sketch

As is customary for the Czech manufacturer, Skoda is preparing us with a design sketch for the renewal of its best-selling electric model.

Skoda has unveiled the first exterior sketches of the new versions of the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé, offering a first glimpse of the update to this 100% electric model. These images highlight the stylistic markers of the new Modern Solid design language, with a completely redesigned front end. It appears to be more of a facelift than a true new model, but we’ll wait to see the interior evolution before forming an opinion.

The Enyaq, launched in 2020, marked a crucial step in Skoda’s electrification strategy. As the first model based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, it has established itself as one of the most popular electric SUVs in Europe. In 2024, it ranks among the best-selling battery electric vehicles (BEV), with impressive October performance.

The front of the new Enyaq features an illuminated Tech-Deck face, replacing the traditional grille, and refined headlights integrated into the wings. Dark Chrome accents, present on the bonnet and side skirts, enhance its stance. A new exclusive color, “Olive Green,” adds to the “new look for a new Skoda.”

The Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé benefit from optimized aerodynamics thanks to the new front and an inclined roof, particularly noticeable on the Coupé version. This evolution not only improves energy efficiency but also extends range. The Enyaq Coupé, with its flowing profile to the rear, is according to the manufacturer the most aerodynamic model in the current lineup.

With this redesign, Skoda aims to continue riding the success of the Enyaq and push its acceleration towards an entirely electric lineup by the end of the decade.
