Here are the photos and the price of the new Tesla Model Y!

After months of speculation, the first uncamouflaged images of the facelifted Tesla Model Y have been revealed.

The second-generation Tesla Model Y, known by the code name « Juniper », appeared in spy photos posted on social media overnight. First big surprise, the car we see is not just a raised copy of the latest Model 3. These images confirm that the new Model Y features a clean design, clearly distinguishable from the sedan.

As anticipated from the camouflaged prototypes, the Y features refined headlights connected by a light strip. The rear also underwent a redesign, with a revamped tailgate integrating a transverse light bar and, probably, the word « TESLA » at its center. The more sporty rear bumper houses the license plate. The photographed model has a front bumper similar to that of the Model 3 Performance, but with smaller wheels, likely 19 inches. Since the vehicle was tested on snowy or icy roads, it’s impossible to draw firm conclusions, as the bumper could be a test protection, and small wheels are more effective on low-traction surfaces.

And cherry on the cake, we can confidently say that the price of the new Model Y Propulsion will be €44,990 excluding Bonus! No magic here, just a glance at Tesla France’s website where the Propulsion is listed at €44,990 with delivery in May 2025, versus €42,990 for the Long Range Propulsion delivered in January 2025. Since it would be foolish to pay more for a car with a lower range, it suggests these are two different generation models.

If Tesla stays true to its schedule, the new Model Y will arrive in showrooms two to three months after its global debut. The announced features include a modernized interior with a larger screen, ventilated front seats, and the disappearance of stalks, replaced by buttons on the steering wheel and a gear selector on the touchscreen.
