GAC Arrives in France with an Electric Car Priced Under 27,000 Euros

With its Aion UT and V, the Chinese group is targeting the French market through pricing, while preparing for a sustainable commercial and industrial establishment.
Yet another name to remember! After MG, BYD, or Xpeng, GAC officially announces its arrival in France with Aion, its electric brand. Unknown to the French public, this group, founded in 1997 in Guangzhou, has industrial experience through its joint ventures with Toyota and Honda.
Its first selling point can be summed up in one figure: €26,990. This is the starting price of the Aion UT, a compact car measuring 4.27 meters that competes with the MG4 and electric Renault Mégane. Features include 204 hp, a 60 kWh LFP battery, and up to 430 kilometers of WLTP range. Heat pump, heated front seats, and a panoramic camera come as standard. According to GAC, charging from 10 to 80% takes 32 minutes.
A very European Chinese car
