Technical sheet of the new Peugeot E-3008 electric
This page is translated from the original post "Fiche technique du nouveau Peugeot E-3008 électrique" in French.

Peugeot replaces its best-seller 3008 with a completely new electric fastback SUV, the « Next-Level » E-3008.
It is difficult to follow the current Peugeot 3008, which was a success for 7 years and a real financial boost for the Sochaux company. With its new E-3008, Peugeot continues its legacy while pursuing its ambition to offer an electric range on all its models by 2025 and to reach 100% electric sales in Europe by 2030.

The « Next-Level » PEUGEOT E-3008 will be produced exclusively in France, at the Sochaux factory, and will go on sale from February 2024. It is the first model to feature the brand new Stellantis STLA Medium platform. The range will include two trim levels, Allure and GT, with 3 option packs to simplify the customer journey. Three electric motors are available, with 210 hp, 230 hp long-range, and 320 hp in Dual Motor all-wheel-drive configuration. We are far from the dozen of gasoline or diesel engines, sometimes doubled by the choice of gearboxes, found on thermal models of the brand just a few years ago! A range with two hybrid options is also planned for markets lacking charging infrastructure or for those still hesitant about electricity.
Worthy of the 3008 heritage
The silhouette updates the lines and stylistic markers that made the 3008 a success. The vehicle’s dimensions remain compact with 4.54 m in length (+10cm), 1.89 m in width (+5cm), and 1.64 m in height (+1.5cm). Great care has been taken to maintain interior space and trunk volume, which at 520 liters remains in line with its predecessor.

The front features the new PEUGEOT badge and a grille without delimitation thanks to a gradient matching the body color. The signature LED lighting with three claws remains a strong brand identifier, both front and rear. The LED headlights are now standard on all versions. The GT trim of the E-3008 receives the new Pixel LED technology, which automatically adapts the beam pattern to driving conditions, providing optimal lighting without disturbing other road users.
A futuristic dashboard
Inside, the eye is immediately drawn to the spectacular curved floating 21-inch panoramic screen of the new Panoramic i-Cockpit. Peugeot’s high-tech display takes full advantage here.
This large digital panel hosts, on the left side of the panoramic screen, the instrument cluster and all driving-related information (speed, power meter, driver assistance, energy flow…). On the right, the touch area is accessible to both driver and passenger. It manages heating/air conditioning, navigation, media/connectivity systems, etc. The central part of the dashboard features the i-Toggles, 10 fully customizable touch buttons.

The center console is airy and streamlined, with many thoughtfully designed small storage spaces. Peugeot claims there are 17 in total! The automatic gear shift control is now located to the right of the steering wheel, just beside the stop/start button. The compact steering wheel, a key element of the i-Cockpit concept, remains small and now includes new tactile controls.
In partnership with French audio specialist Focal, Peugeot offers a Hi-Fi System that promises to delight music lovers with no less than 10 speakers and a mode called « Front-Optimized », which transforms the front seats into a listening lounge.
Simplified electric range
On the technical side, the three 100% electric powertrains provide a wide choice capable of meeting all needs and budgets.
- Range of 525 km, two-wheel drive, 210 hp/157 kW,
- Dual Motor with a range of 525 km, all-wheel drive, 320 hp/240 kW,
- Long-range version with 700 KM, two-wheel drive, 230 hp/170 kW.
The charging port located on the left rear wing offers connections for Mode 2/3 (AC) and Mode 4 (DC). For fast charging via superchargers, the new E-3008’s Mode 4 port accepts up to 160 kW. This allows the battery to be recharged from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes for the standard range version, and in less than 30 minutes for the long-range version. The vehicle features V2L (Vehicle to Load), a very useful function for charging an electric bike or powering electrical devices.
All that remains is to know the prices of this new Peugeot E-3008, but it is almost certain that an entry-level price below 47,000 euros will be offered to take advantage of the Ecological Bonus.
