Fiat Maintains Its Massive Discounts Despite Bonus Reduction

Fiat has decided to extend its €8,000 discount for all on the electric models 500e and 600e until December 31, 2024.

At Fiat, there is an urgent need to clear the stock of electric cars to make room for the 2025 models. The brand, like all players in the French electric market, was probably counting a little on the announcement of the reduction of the Ecological Bonus in 2025 to boost year-end sales. But unexpectedly, the decree of November 29, 2024, reducing the aid amounts, was implemented early from December 2, 2024. Oops, unable to rely on this opportunity anymore, Fiat had no choice but to announce specific measures for December 2024. The brand is offering a proprietary environmental bonus set at €8,000 for the purchase of its electric vehicles. This offer is accessible to everyone, regardless of income, and valid while stocks last until December 31, 2024. It might be costly, but it should free up space in garages.

If you’re not yet familiar with the new rules, concretely this measure translates into an environmental bonus multiplied by 4 for buyers whose reference taxable income (RFR) per share is above €26,200. That’s only twice the bonus allocated to those whose RFR per share is below €16,300, but ultimately, it’s €8,000 off for everyone, and that’s all that matters.

Meanwhile, Fiat offers leasing solutions for its electric models:

• The Fiat 500e, a city electric car, is available from €109 per month.
• The Fiat 600e, a more spacious model with an autonomy reaching up to 400 km in WLTP cycle, is offered from €189 per month.

These offers, valid until the end of the year, obviously concern only vehicles in stock. Unfortunately for Fiat, their stocks are quite ample for everyone to find something they like.
