Quest for Elegance: The Mazda6e

Mazda introduces the new Mazda6e, a model with a complex name that embodies both refinement and electric functionality.

The Mazda6e aligns with the “Authentic Modern” design philosophy, combining a sporty coupe-inspired silhouette with practical everyday features.

European Mazda design director, Jo Stenuit, describes the Mazda6e as an expression of the stylistic language “Kodo – Soul of Motion.” Its smooth design and harmonious lines create a sense of dynamism even when stationary. The front features a grille with illuminated surround, which also indicates the vehicle’s charging status. The rear is distinguished by semi-arc headlights, paying homage to the brand’s stylistic heritage.

External elements include flush door handles and frameless doors, enhancing the overall elegance. An electrically deployable spoiler contributes to improved aerodynamics. Sculpted door panels, inspired by the wake of a speedboat, catch the light and reinforce the impression of movement.

The interior features a minimalist and functional design. A floating dashboard extends horizontally to create a sense of space, while the center console encourages focus. Standard equipment includes a panoramic glass roof with thermal insulation and customizable ambient lighting with 64 colors.

The front seats, featuring a one-piece design with integrated headrests, offer comfort and modernity. Finishing options include Beige or Black upholstery and premium leather Nappa Tan and suede trims. Details such as satin chrome inserts and precise stitching enhance the overall look.

The Mazda6e reflects Mazda’s commitment to electrification while remaining faithful to its design and craftsmanship values. This model represents a key step in the brand’s evolution into an electric era.
