73 100% electric Porsches took over the Alps for a historic road trip, proving that silence can be more powerful than noise.
The era of roaring silence has arrived. Last September, the Registro Italiano E-motion orchestrated its first official “road trip,” bringing together 131 participants and 73 electric vehicles (EVs) for a memorable journey between Italy and Hans-Peter Porsche’s Traumwerk museum, near Salzburg.
The convoy, which departed from the Porsche Experience Center in Franciacorta, displayed impressive diversity. Among the 73 vehicles, there were:
- 42 Taycans (including GTS, Turbo S, and two Turbo GT models with the Weissach package).
- 31 electric Macans, some of which were preview models.
Innovation did not stop with the vehicles. To address the limitations of the public network, Porsche deployed two mobile charging units, each weighing 14 tons. These giant batteries delivered 2.1 MWh of energy, allowing 10 cars to be charged simultaneously at a power of 280 kW.

More than just a car club, the Registro Italiano E-motion defines itself as a family. Officially founded in May 2025 by Massimo Piccinno and spokesperson Andrea Siviero, the group originated from a simple WhatsApp discussion among Taycan owners during the pandemic.
The club attracts a varied profile, from entrepreneurs in Lugano to content creators like Giulio Tedesco (28 years old, 1.2 million followers), proving that the Porsche passion transcends generations. Even the famous cinematographer Daniele Massaccesi (Matrix, Gladiator II) joined the adventure, swapping his diesel for an electric Macan.
