Citroën My Ami Pop, and there’s joy!

Citroën unveils a dynamic and colorful version of its small electric Ami with a new design that enhances its playful character.

My Ami Pop is one of the multiple personalities offered by Ami, which has delighted more than 43,000 customers since its launch and about 80% of them opt for a customized version.

The sticker on the door, a key element of this version, highlights the number 2 prominently. A nod to Ami’s uniqueness, which approaches mobility differently with 2 passengers, 2 identical doors, 2 identical front and rear bumpers, and 2 identical wings. This completely symmetrical design was driven by the goal of reducing production costs. An unconventional look that may have caught potential buyers off guard at launch, but ultimately managed to carve out its place in the urban jungle.

A major change in the interior, the My Ami Pop introduces a driving selector on the central console for better ergonomics. All controls are more visible and easier to select. The essentials are there, and strictly the essentials: RND control, USB port, ventilation control, hazard warning, and heating/defogging controls.

Still no digital screen, the My Ami Play interface turns your smartphone into a dashboard with quick access to navigation, music, radio, or phone calls. This simple and economical solution has also been adopted in the new entry-level ë-C3, where the digital display is replaced by a simple smartphone holder.

The new My Ami Pop is available to order starting today at a price of €8,890 paid in full or from €29.99 per month in long-term rental (example of a 48-month lease with a €3,950 down payment including VAT). This financing method is adjustable in terms of monthly payments and initial rent based on individual budgets. First deliveries are scheduled for the first quarter of 2024 across the 12 countries where Ami is already sold.
