Citroën launches a new version of the AMI

Yellow, khaki, roof rails, and black plastic protections: here is the new Citroën My AMI Tonic.

Citroën has just announced the arrival of a new “Tonic” version of the AMI. Already available on the configurator, it replaces the Kaki and Vibe AMI models.

As with all other AMI models, the specifications are limited to aesthetic elements. For this model, Citroën has incorporated roof rails, skid plates, and side protections in black plastic, already seen on other AMI versions. Like the My AMI Buggy, wheel covers surround the headlights, and small yellow arrows appear on the wheel arches. The front bumper receives decorative elements in the same color, also reminiscent of the Buggy.

The khaki shade visible in certain areas is also borrowed from the Buggy. However, the Tonic uses it more sparingly, as it retains the gray bodywork of other versions. Khaki has been chosen for the side decorations, combined with yellow. It is also found on the wheels and in the interior, mainly on the storage bins. The straps used to open or close the doors are yellow, matching the exterior accents.

An AMI that pays attention to detail

Die-hard fans of the AMI will notice the presence of small white arrows in the side decorations, indicating in a way the opening direction of the asymmetrical doors. Citroën also placed a sticker on the window flap displaying the GPS coordinates of the Stellantis center in Vélizy. Additionally, the manufacturer has placed “+” and “-” stickers on the door handles to emphasize that the AMI is electric.

With a price of €8,990, the new My AMI Tonic is positioned at the top of the range, which currently starts at €7,790. This version is also available through long-term rental, starting at €34.99 per month. Note that this low monthly fee requires a significant initial deposit (€3,757).
