All the prices of the Volvo EX30

Volvo EX30

Never before has Volvo produced such a compact SUV, and even less so a 100% electric one. And certainly not at such an affordable price!

With its appearance of robustness, the EX30 clearly aligns with Volvo’s lineage. Its compact size, with a length of 4.23 meters, should be particularly appreciated for city driving. Range, charging times, road behavior, and driving ease remain among its strengths, as do the safety and infotainment systems that Volvo has specialized in.

However, the main advantage of the new Sino-Swedish SUV lies in the affordable price of this 100% electric and 100% modern model, available from 37,500 euros.

The new model is available in three powertrain variants.

  • The base Single version offers a single rear-mounted motor (272 hp) and a 51 kWh LFP battery providing a range of 344 km.
  • The Single Extended Range version has a range of up to 476 km. It features the same motor as the base version but is equipped with a 69 kWh NMC battery.
  • The Twin Performance variant focuses on power (428 hp) and includes a second electric motor as well as all-wheel drive. It still maintains a range of 450 km.

Volvo Cars has decided to produce the new fully electric Volvo EX30 at its factory in Gand, Belgium, starting in 2025, thereby increasing the production capacity of its small model. Production of the EX30 began this fall in Zhangjiakou, China, with the first cars expected to reach customers early next year. The decision to build the EX30 in Gand strengthens the manufacturing capacity to meet the anticipated demand in Europe as well as for global export. It reflects Volvo Cars’ ambition to build as many of its cars as possible where they are sold and will of course open the door to the Green Bonus for this model.
