A Boosted Porsche Taycan Approaching

Monday, March 11 at 2:00 PM, Porsche will unveil an upgraded Taycan, announced as the most powerful of all time.

Kevin Giek, Vice President of the Taycan product line and Porsche Timo Bernhard ambassador, will present the new high-end model Taycan alongside Porsche development driver Lars Kern. Formula E presenter and journalist Nicki Shields will host this reveal.

Marketed since 2019, the Porsche Taycan underwent a very significant update a month ago that altered its bodywork and performance. Until now, the most sporty version was the Turbo S, already totally crazy with its 105 kWh battery (compared to 93 kWh previously). Its power surged to 952 horsepower (700 kW), an increase of 190 hp (140 kW). 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 2.4 seconds, while the standard Taycan is already satisfied with a good 4.8 seconds thanks to a boost of 108 hp (80 kW). So, half the time!

All body variants have been affected by these updates, including the sedan, the Sport Turismo wagon, and the rugged Cross Turismo. This is first visible through a subtly changed appearance, but also more aerodynamic body elements. The front bumper has been redesigned, along with the side skirts and rear diffuser, to reduce energy-consuming drag. The first visual of this extreme Taycan shows a rear spoiler.
