700 km of range for the upcoming DS

Starting from 2024, the new exclusively electric DS Automobiles models will inaugurate Stellantis’ new platform.

DS Automobiles is accelerating its energy transition. Since its inception, the premium brand has placed electrification at the core of its strategy with a 100% electrified range available since 2019. Thanks to the DS 3 E-TENSE 100% electric, and the DS 4, 7, and 9 E-TENSE plug-in hybrids ranging from 225 to 360 horsepower, all vehicles are offered with electrified powertrains, accounting for nearly 50% of sales volume in Europe during the first half of 2023.

DS accelerates and becomes 100% electric starting in 2024

From 2024, the manufacturer will expand its offering by launching the DS 4 in a 100% electric version, then will unveil a new creation, inaugurating Stellantis’ first 100% electric project based on the global STLA M platform. Equipped with a high-capacity battery up to 98 kWh usable for over 700 kilometers of range, this future model will offer exceptional technology and refinement, thanks to a perfect adaptation of technical elements to customer desires. Development is currently being finalized in France.

The Melfi factory in Italy will produce this new 100% electric creation. Opened in the 1990s, it is located in the Basilicata region, between Naples and Bari. A second model may later benefit from the expertise of the Melfi factory.
