€21,000 for a Tesla? The dream might (maybe) become reality

This month, Tesla representatives will meet with India’s Minister of Commerce to discuss building a factory in the country. 

Recently, Tesla has shown a strong interest in a potential factory in India, and for this reason, the company’s representatives will visit India to meet with the Indian Minister of Commerce. They will discuss building a new Tesla model priced at around 21,000 euros at the country’s factory, according to Reuters. 

A brand new model for a brand new factory 

This factory will produce a completely new model from the American manufacturer. A model that will be sold for approximately 24,000 dollars, or 21,000 euros, according to a source speaking with our colleagues at Reuters. Regarding this vehicle, we have no details about the model, possibly just an idea of the price that could be proposed, as Tesla has not made any official announcement yet. 

This meeting would be the most important so far. Last June, Elon Musk already met with India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Tesla’s CEO took the opportunity to express strong interest in investing in a factory in the country. 

Another Tesla factory project 

Elon Musk and Tesla are in negotiations with several countries to establish a factory. Remember, a month ago, the company’s CEO visited France for the Vivatech fair, where he also took the opportunity to meet President Emmanuel Macron. There is also a potential project in Spain. The factory project in India does not affect the possible presence or absence of a factory in France or Spain.
