17,226 electric horses gathered in this photo!

The Croatian manufacturer brought together for the first time nine of its hypercars during the very first Rimac Nevera Trailblazers Tour.

This milestone event, showcasing some of the fastest production cars in the world, highlighted a growing community of (wealthy) Nevera owners who share Rimac’s futuristic vision.

The journey began at Rimac Campus, the company’s global headquarters located in Sveta Nedelja, a town on the outskirts of Zagreb, Croatia’s capital. Participants discovered the behind-the-scenes technology and craftsmanship that brought their Nevera to life. This exceptional moment was followed by a spectacular exhibition in front of the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb, where the nine Nevera, with a combined 17,226 electric horsepower and over 10 million euros in value, were showcased. Mate Rimac, founder of the Rimac Group and CEO of Bugatti Rimac, participated with his own Nevera.

“Gathering nine Nevera for this first Trailblazers Tour marks an important milestone for us,” praised Mate Rimac. When we started this journey, creating a hypercar like the Nevera seemed like a distant goal. Today, seeing these nine models travel across Croatia represents the innovation and engineering we have developed at Bugatti Rimac.

An homage to Nikola Tesla and Croatia

The visit to the Nikola Tesla Memorial Center was, of course, one of the highlights of the adventure. A pilgrimage meant as a tribute to the inventor who inspires Mate Rimac. Admittedly, Tesla, though visionary, did not significantly contribute to the automotive industry—a small detail that adds a touch of irony given the American brand that bears his name. It’s hard not to interpret this as a slight nod from Mate Rimac, who proudly claims the legacy of his compatriot while redefining the standards of electric mobility. This link between two iconic Croatian figures underscores the national heritage embodied by the Nevera, a car that is both proudly Croatian and renowned worldwide.

The convoy traveled through the diverse landscapes of Croatia, from hills to the Adriatic coast, demonstrating the grand touring capabilities of the Nevera. The pinnacle was the gathering of the hypercars in the Roman amphitheater in Pula. The contrast between this futuristic engineering and the limestone arches of the first century symbolizes the marriage between Croatia’s rich past and its innovative future.
