Dacia Boosts Its LPG Range
The gasoline/LPG dual-fuel system remains Dacia’s signature thanks to over 15 years of experience and a record range.
Dacia, the leader in LPG in France, enhances its eco-friendly offering with the new Eco-G 120 engine, now available for order on Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Jogger, and Duster, in manual and automatic transmissions. Since its introduction in 2010, the gasoline/LPG dual-fuel system has established itself as a practical and economical choice, with over 300,000 vehicles sold in France and nearly one in three customers in 2025 attracted to this technology.
The gasoline/LPG dual-fuel system offers a combined range of up to 1,560 km, thanks to the two tanks, and reduces operating costs by up to €36 per full tank according to Dacia. It also contributes to a reduction in CO₂ emissions by approximately 10% compared to a comparable gasoline engine, while limiting fine particles by 90%. Integrated as original equipment, this technology benefits from Renault Group’s expertise and does not impact trunk space or the gasoline tank, as the LPG tank replaces the spare wheel. Like all Dacia models, LPG vehicles are covered by a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty.
More power for all models
The new Eco-G 120 delivers increased power at 120 hp (+20 hp compared to the previous engine) and a torque of 197 Nm (+16%). The automatic Eco-G 120 auto version combines the advantages of LPG with the EDC dual-clutch transmission.
At the same time, Dacia offers a mild hybrid-G 140 engine on Bigster, combining LPG and a 48V mild hybrid system for improved driving pleasure and increased efficiency. The Duster and Bigster can also benefit from the world’s first combination of LPG dual-fuel, all-wheel drive, and automatic transmission, thanks to the hybrid-G 150 4×4 engine.
