BYD Claims Its Nobility at Goodwood
The Chinese giant BYD will deploy three brands this year at the largest stand ever seen at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed will serve as a massive showcase for BYD. From July 9 to 12, 2026, the Chinese group will bring together for the first time its three automotive brands — BYD, DENZA, and YANGWANG — within a spectacular 2,016 m² space, announced as the largest ever created by a single manufacturer in the history of the British event.
Located near the main pedestrian bridge, this multi-level pavilion will offer a true technological immersion. Visitors will be able to explore a “Tech Zone” dedicated to in-house innovations, featuring demonstrations of ultra-fast FLASH Charging, DM-i hybrid technology, and V2G solutions. Driving simulators, robotic dogs, an official shop, and a VIP rooftop terrace will complete the experience.
The BYD universe is indeed vast…
This edition will also mark the official launch of DENZA in Europe. The premium brand will showcase the Z9GT, BAO5, and D9, while taking advantage of the festival to reveal a new model in its world premiere. For its part, BYD will announce several new products aimed at the European and British markets.
The luxury division YANGWANG will highlight two spectacular models: the U8L SUV and the U9 Xtreme hypercar, touted as the fastest car in the world. One of the brand’s supercars will also take part in the legendary Goodwood hill climb, “The Hill.”
