Alpine A110: A Final Farewell Show for the Berlinetta

Alpine A110 Rétromobile

At Rétromobile 2026, Alpine stages a key moment in its history: the last months of the A110 thermal.

From January 28 to February 1, 2026, Alpine will be one of the standout brands at the Rétromobile show. Founded in 1955 and always true to its sporty DNA, the Dieppe brand takes advantage of the event to celebrate its 70th anniversary… but also to gently mark the anticipated end of the Alpine A110 thermal. A significant chapter in French automotive history is about to close.

To commemorate this pivotal moment, Alpine has chosen to gather three A110s that each tell, in their own way, the past, present, and nearly bygone story of the Berlinette. Starting with the 1977 Alpine A110 1600 SX, the last first-generation A110 produced in Dieppe. Rare, authentic, and preserved by its original owner, this “Berliverte” Berlinette embodies the essence of Alpine philosophy: lightness, agility, and pure driving pleasure, weighing only 790 kg.

More gas in the veins

Another highlight of the stand, the Alpine A110 1800S Group 4 takes visitors back to the golden age of rallying. A true factory car, entered in the World Rally Championship, it notably excelled in the 1975 Tour de Corse. With its 170 hp for just 710 kg, it symbolizes an era when Alpine dominated special stages and forged its legend in competition.

Facing these historical icons, the Alpine A110R Ultime represents the ultimate modern expression of the A110 thermal. Limited to 110 units and already sold out, this radical version develops up to 345 hp and approaches a race car homologated for the road. Presented in its exclusive hand-crafted “La Bleue” livery made in Dieppe, it embodies the pinnacle of Alpine craftsmanship.
