Kia has unveiled the new version of its Sportage, a compact SUV that has already sold over 7 million units worldwide.
This new version of the Sportage, specifically designed for the European market with a shorter wheelbase, stands out with a bold design, cutting-edge technology, and electrified powertrains from launch.

Under the design philosophy “Opposites United,” the new Sportage features a robust and refined look: LED lighting in a “star map” pattern, Kia’s iconic tiger nose grille, and wheels up to 19 inches for the GT-Line trims. The interior also steps up, with two panoramic 12.3-inch displays, a 10-inch head-up display, and sustainable materials like Dinamica, a partially recycled suede microfiber.

In terms of powertrain, Kia offers petrol and hybrid (HEV) versions, featuring next-generation transmission and aerodynamic design for dynamic driving. The interior provides over a meter of legroom in the back, a versatile trunk ranging from 587 to 1,776 liters, and a two-level loading floor on the hybrid version.

Connectivity is also well-equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Kia Connect services, OTA updates, a “Feature-on-Demand” platform (games, streaming), and even an integrated payment system. Safety features include autonomous emergency braking, highway driving assistance, a 360° camera with a 3D view, and a wireless charger.
Production will take place at the Kia plant in Žilina, Slovakia. The arrival in European dealerships is expected in the third quarter of 2025, with detailed pricing to be announced soon.
