Behind AVATR are indeed heavyweight Chinese companies. This premium brand relies on the manufacturer Changan, battery specialist CATL, and Huawei, a technology partner for driver assistance and the digital environment. This division of expertise lends credibility to the company.
Measuring 4.94 meters in length, the 06T boasts the silhouette of a low and generously shouldered shooting brake. In a show filled with SUVs, this elegance is a pleasure to behold. Inside, a 35.4-inch panoramic display overlooks a clean presentation, accompanied by a central 15.6-inch screen.
Beautiful and Technical
The technical specs are also impressive. The three-motor electric version develops 712 kW, roughly 968 hp, with a claimed 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds. Depending on the versions, the range reaches 741 kilometers under the Chinese CLTC cycle, which is more optimistic than our WLTP. The 800-volt architecture would allow for a recharge from 30 to 80% in less than ten minutes.
In China, the range starts at 219,900 yuan, which is approximately 29,300 euros at the current exchange rate. This entry-level price obviously does not pertain to the 968 hp version and does not indicate European prices.
AVATR is indeed planning to debut in Europe in 2027, particularly in Norway and Spain. France is still awaiting its details. In the meantime, this unknown deserves a detour: beautiful surprises aren’t always at the center of the celebration.
