Skoda Epiq Sportline: the small electric SUV flexes its muscles and its price

The Skoda Epiq Sportline sharpens its look and is packed with features. Up to 211 hp and a range of 434 km are announced for this small electric SUV, the price of which remains to be revealed.

The smallest electric SUV from Skoda is flexing its muscles. With its new Sportline trim, the Epiq targets drivers who want a compact car without sacrificing an appealing presentation. This upgrade inevitably raises a question: how much will it add to the bill?

A sporty look, especially generous equipment

Black 19-inch wheels, glossy black details, body-colored bumpers: the formula doesn’t revolutionize anything, but it adds character to the overall look. The Sportline is also the only Epiq offered with a black roof. Enthusiasts can even opt for 20-inch wheels as an option.

Inside, the electric sports seats combine fabric and black suede. Features include a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and wireless phone charging. Matrix LED headlights and a front light strip are also standard, as well as navigation and Travel Assist 3.0. However, beware: the 360-degree cameras remain optional.

Two batteries for two uses

The Epiq Sportline 40 combines 135 hp with a useful battery of 37 kWh. Its range reaches 322 km WLTP, with a charging time of 10 to 80% announced in 23 minutes.

More versatile on paper, the 55 version develops 211 hp and carries a useful 51.7 kWh battery. It promises up to 434 km WLTP, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, and takes 24 minutes for the same recharge exercise.

Offered starting at €38,600, which is more than €10,000 above the City 40 trim, this version will certainly not account for the bulk of sales. But for fans of sporty looks and generous equipment, it will certainly be worth a look.
