Volvo unveils its program for the Paris Motor Show

From October 12 to 18, 2026, Volvo will invest in the Paris Motor Show with its electric and plug-in hybrid SUVs.
A bit of calm amidst the hustle of the Motor Show? That’s the promise from Volvo, which will set up its “Villa Frandinave” at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Join us in hall 5.2, booth A11, for a Scandinavian immersion where the cars will still take center stage. As it approaches its centenary, celebrated in 2027, the Sino-Swedish manufacturer intends to showcase how it is preparing for the future.
However, be careful with the schedule: not everyone will see exactly the same models. On October 12, a press-only day, the electric EX60 will share the spotlight with its Cross Country variant, which is raised and equipped with air suspension. Both models are based on the new SPA3 platform.
The XC60 Extends Electric Mobility
From the public opening on October 13, the EX60 will remain on display, while the Cross Country will make room. Visitors will discover the deeply revamped XC60 plug-in hybrid Long Range.
Its main novelty is hidden under the bodywork: a battery increased from 18.8 to 41.2 kWh, promising an electric range of up to 200 km in the WLTP mixed cycle. This allows for numerous daily trips without waking the internal combustion engine, provided it is regularly charged. Available in T6 AWD and T8 AWD, this XC60 starts at €76,000.
The EX40 Revamps Its Presentation
The EX30 will also accompany the restyled EX40. The latter features a redesigned front end and an 11.2-inch central screen. Volvo announces up to 571 km of WLTP range and a charging time of 10 to 80% in 26 to 28 minutes on a fast charger. Starting price: €46,950.
A very SUV-focused program, therefore, which will primarily allow for comparisons between two approaches to electrification, depending on usage and charging possibilities.
