Porsche Macan: A Welcome Tech Upgrade!
The Porsche Macan Electric enhances its equipment and launches an Advanced Pack: a welcome upgrade as new premium electric SUVs continue to rise in class.
The Porsche Macan Electric is not exactly outdated. However, in the electric vehicle market, two years can now feel like a small eternity. With newcomers consistently offering more generous equipment and technologies, the German SUV certainly needed a little facelift to stay competitive.
For its new model year, Porsche begins by enhancing the standard equipment. The adaptive cruise control is now accompanied by parking assistance with a 2D panoramic view, capable of automatically handling parallel parking and bay parking. A remote parking function via smartphone, with a 3D view, remains available as an option.
Even the phone benefits from the update: wireless charging increases from 15 to 25 W. More interestingly for users who regularly charge on alternating current, the Macan GTS and Macan Turbo now come standard with a 22 kW onboard charger. The Macan, Macan 4, and Macan 4S remain at 11 kW, with the 22 kW available as an option. The maximum power for direct current remains fixed at 270 kW.
An Advanced Pack to Enhance Equipment
Porsche is also launching an Advanced Pack intended for the Macan, Macan 4, and Macan 4S. It includes a panoramic roof, matrix LED headlights, 14-way electric Comfort seats, leather upholstery, a BOSE audio system, adaptive air suspension with PASM, and Power Steering Plus.
Priced at €6,040 for the Macan and Macan 4 and €5,344 for the Macan 4S, this pack could offer savings of up to 45% compared to options ordered separately.

An evolution that comes at just the right time. The Macan Electric maintains its performance and Porsche image, but it must now contend with much more aggressive premium electric competition, especially in terms of standard equipment. This technological update was, therefore, less of a luxury and more of a necessity to stay up to date.
