Exclusive: Meeting the Electric Alpine A110
The Goodwood Festival of Speed showcased this week the first moving images of the upcoming electric Alpine A110.
On site, our friends from AUTOhebdo were able to get close to this heavily camouflaged prototype, from which these exclusive photos reveal the first details of the third generation of the famous sports car from Dieppe.

Named A110 FUTURE, this development mule represents an important step in Alpine’s transformation. The next A110 will definitively abandon the internal combustion engine in favor of a 100% electric powertrain. This is a strategic shift for a car that has become a reference due to its lightness and driving pleasure.
For this first public appearance, it was Pierre Gasly who took the wheel on the famous Goodwood hill climb, with the Duke of Richmond as a passenger. After the demonstration, the driver of the Alpine F1 team said: “It was amazing to be among the first to drive the future of Alpine while climbing the famous Goodwood hill. Alpine continues to demonstrate that an electric sports car can be lighter, more incisive, and provide real driving pleasure.”
An Innovative Electric Platform
Beyond the symbolism, Alpine took advantage of the event to unveil several features of its new Alpine Performance Platform (APP). This dedicated architecture is based on 800-volt electric technology, with a battery distributed between the front and rear to maintain a low driving position and two electric motors installed on the rear axle. The Alpine Active Torque Vectoring 2.0 system is expected to maintain the agility that today makes the A110 renowned.

The brand ensures that this new platform has been designed to compete with the best thermal sports cars, both on the road and on the track. This is an ambitious goal, given that the current A110 has established itself as a reference.
