Alpine A110 Electric: The Future Generation Unveiled in Preview
Alpine unveils A110 FUTURE, the development prototype of its next fully electric sports car.
Just a few days before the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026, Alpine offers a first concrete glimpse of the future of its iconic model. The Dieppe brand reveals A110 FUTURE, the development mule of the third generation of the A110, a sports car that will mark a major turning point as it will be fully electric.

Visible in action from July 9 to 12 on the famous Goodwood hill climb, this A110 FUTURE does not yet foreshadow the final design of the future model. Its primary purpose is to validate the technical solutions that will equip the next generation, expected to be one of the first electric sports cars designed from the ground up to deliver the sensations of a true driver’s car.
Alpine looks far ahead
At the heart of the project is the new Alpine Performance Platform (APP). This aluminum architecture has been developed specifically for the brand’s sports models. It features a weight distribution of 40/60%, thanks to two battery packs distributed within the chassis, as well as 800-volt technology with high energy density cells to minimize weight and improve charging performance.
The mechanical part is built upon a unique rear axle integrating two electric motors paired with a silicon carbide inverter. Alpine thus promises a high level of performance, particularly rapid torque control, and a dynamic behavior true to the DNA of the A110. Aluminum suspensions and a new braking and steering system complete the whole setup.

Beyond this world premiere, Alpine will take advantage of its largest participation ever organized at Goodwood to showcase its entire current range, from the A290 to the A390, while celebrating the history of the A110. The drivers of the Formula 1 team, including Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto, will also be present to enliven the brand’s stand. This demonstration confirms Alpine’s ambition to open a new chapter in its sports history with a highly anticipated electric A110.
