Motron Vizion: An Affordable Small Electric Roadster
This page is translated from the original post "Motron Vizion : un petit roadster électrique abordable" in French.

Originating from China and distributed by KSR, the young brand offers a small electric motorcycle, the Motron Vizion, at an affordable price with an aggressive style.
Between the electric scooter, which is already more expensive than its thermal counterparts, and the electric sports motorcycle, there is a significant gap. Fortunately, some brands are entering the niche of small bikes comparable to 50cc.
An electric sports bike imitating thermal engines
Motron, a brand distributed by the Austrian group KSR, which also markets Brixton, Royal Enfield, and Niu, is a new brand created in spring 2021. Aimed at budget-friendly options (or low-cost if you prefer), Motron unveiled a range of thermal and electric scooters. However, in motorcycles, its catalog previously only included conventional petrol models.
For 2022, the young company expands its lineup with the Motron Vizion. This small two-seater roadster copies the thermal standards of the market, and rides on small 12-inch wheels with a rear swingarm. If it looks familiar, that’s normal. This motorcycle is a re-edition of the old Cineco City Slicker. It is therefore of Chinese design, from the Zhongshen group, which has already redesigned other products from Motron.

Technically, its central motor develops 3.7 kW (4.5 hp) and a torque of 14.6 Nm. This is sufficient for the category, especially given the legal maximum speed of 45 km/h. Its battery is tiny, with a capacity of 1.87 kWh. It allows for a range of 79 kilometers on a gentle ride or 65 km on average per charge. At least, this has the advantage of reducing the weight of the electric motorcycle to 100 kg according to official data, including 16 kg of batteries.
The Motron Vizion is cheaper than Super Soco
As previously stated, Motron is seeking an affordable entry-level in the motorcycle world. With this electric Vizion, it applies a price of €3,199, which is higher than the former Cineco at €2,790 and the launch price announced in February 2021 (€2,899). It’s a pity that, apart from black and white, this two-wheeled volt doesn’t offer more trendy colors.
With such a low price, the Motron Vizion competes more with the Super Soco TSx, which has a more enclosed design and a rear Bosch motor (without belt). This one starts at €3,390 with a similar-sized 1.8 kWh battery. It is also lighter (80 kg) despite its 17-inch wheels, and has an identical range of 65 kilometers.
