The electric motorcycle specialist Zero has just updated the SR, one of the flagship models of its range.
The 2022 model of the SR comes with a new 14.4 kWh battery, which guarantees a range of 251 km… in urban environments! On the highway, at an average speed of 113 km/h, this value is halved.

Updates to improve performance
Yes, the SR can now receive remote updates thanks to the Cypher III + operating system. This is the major novelty of this 2022 model year.
Cypher III + allows increasing the total capacity to 20.9 kWh. In this configuration, the SR’s range rises to 365 km in the city.
Up to 100 hp and 190 Nm of torque
Alongside this, it is also possible to use Cypher III + to enhance the motorcycle’s performance. The SR’s engine originally delivers 74 hp and 166 Nm of torque. After a quick visit to the Cypher Store, power will increase to 110 hp and torque to 190 Nm. Top speed will also go from 167 to 200 km/h.
Cypher III + also allows optimizing charging speed, advanced Bosch stability control, dashboard navigation, and “much more” (according to Zero).
Of course, these updates are not free. Customers will need to open their wallets again after spending a minimum of €19,550 for the purchase of the SR.
