Skoda Vision 7S: 7 Seats with Baby on the Center Console
This page is translated from the original post "Skoda Vision 7S : 7 places avec bébé sur la console centrale" in French.

With this new electric concept, Skoda will explore new avenues in style and interior design.
Skoda could leverage the rise of electric vehicles to deeply transform the design of its cars. However, the Malda Boleslav brand has not made any radical changes so far, with the Enyaq and its coupe version remaining quite conventional in appearance. It will go further in the coming years and will give an initial idea of what it is preparing with a new concept: the Vision 7S.
The vehicle has been teased with a first preview showing a glimpse of the interior. Designed for 7 passengers, the Vision 7S will feature 3 rows of seats. A child seat will be placed in the middle, on a large central console that divides the cabin into two. The layout is adaptable, with a driving mode and a relaxation mode. Reserved for when the vehicle is stationary, the second mode frees up space for passengers by reclining the seats of the first two rows, the steering wheel, and the instrument cluster. The Vision 7S is also equipped with haptic feedback controls on the door panels and mood lighting that is also adjustable.
Generally, Skoda explains that it has prioritized simple, minimalist lines, as well as sustainable materials. “The new design language is minimalist, functional, and authentic”, commented Oliver Stefani, Skoda’s Head of Design. “With our new style, we are taking a new step and placing even greater emphasis on the customer experience.”
A long-range electric concept?
For now, Skoda has not released any technical details about the concept. The only certainty is that it will be fully electric. Since the Vision 7S is clearly designed for long family trips, it is reasonable to imagine that Skoda has paid particular attention to range. Additionally, it is easier to fit a substantial motor/battery pack into a vehicle that will not be sold commercially.
No information is available yet about the presentation date, but the release of a teaser suggests that the Vision 7S will reveal all its secrets soon.
