Rimac will produce a total of 150 units of this exceptional car.

Rimac quickly established a reputation as a specialist in electric supercars. Thirteen years after starting its journey, the Croatian manufacturer is now launching its second model, the Nevera. The first unit has just been handed over to Nico Rosberg, former Formula 1 driver turned entrepreneur in the sustainable development sector.

Before manufacturing this car, Rimac had already assembled another unit of its Nevera, but this one will serve as a demonstrator and will not be sold. Nico Rosberg’s #001 is therefore the first unit intended for customers. A total of 150 will be produced, sold at a unit price of around 2 million euros.

“As soon as I met Mate (the founder of the brand, Ed.) and truly understood the genius behind the Nevera, I knew I wanted the number one car”, commented Nico Rosberg. The former Formula 1 driver said he was eager to enjoy a car that he describes as “incredibly fast” but also “great to drive”.

Regarding the configuration, Nico Rosberg chose a black body color, polished wheels, and black Alcantara upholstery. The Nevera also features a numbered plaque bearing the name of the German.

Living in Monaco, the residents of the Principality may be the first to see a Nevera on the street.

Rimac Nevera, the electric car of all superlatives

The Nevera boasts an electric motor with 1,914 hp. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds and reach a top speed of 412 km/h. To maintain a decent range, Rimac had no choice but to install a massive 120 kWh battery, which theoretically allows for 550 km between charges.
