A premium family SUV
For months, Polestar 3 has been steadily revealing itself through teaser images, camouflage, and a single-angle photo. What do we know about this second model in the range after the Polestar 2 sedan?
It will have impressive dimensions, around 4.70 meters long. In this way, it will compete with the segment leader, the Tesla Model Y, or the Kia EV6. Its new platform will be shared with the upcoming Volvo EX90 — also imminent — with a focus on high performance.
Moreover, the most powerful Polestar 3 “Performance Pack” announces 380 kW (510 hp) and a torque of 910 Nm. Comfort is expected to be a priority, with its adaptive air suspension. At launch, all versions will have two motors (front and rear).
10 days before the Polestar 3
The Polestar 3 will have its world premiere alone, not at the next Paris Motor Show. It has chosen October 12 and Copenhagen, Denmark, for its event.
The brand also confirms plans to continue with three other electric cars:
- Polestar 4, a more compact SUV in 2023;
- Polestar 5, a large sedan based on the Precept prototype in 2024;
- Polestar 6, the coupe-cabriolet derived from the O2 concept, in 2026.
